Students of Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University blocked the Nagar Jalpai Bypass area of the Dhaka-Tangail Bangabandhu Bridge highway from 11:00am to 12:00pm. The blockade caused a 20-kilometre tailback on both sides of the road.
